Asking her why she has decided to "have the care and responsibility of all the Bullar family resting on [her]"; stressing that she should not worry about economising; describing their apartment in Brussels; and giving details of how little everything costs in Brussels. Kate's letter advises Mrs. Collins not to take care of the Bullar family, gives news of her siblings, and mentions housekeeping details.
